60 km of trails through the pine forest

Right on our street, the bike path leads you straight through the pine forest: turn left toward Cap-Ferret and its lively village, or turn right to access sixty kilometers of trails that loop around the entire Peninsula all the way to Arcachon, offering an unforgettable cycling adventure. Along the way, you will cross paths with fellow cyclists, morning joggers, and families walking or riding by—all sharing the simple pleasure of exploring these shaded paths. You will certainly get hooked!

The Cap-Ferret cycling network is one of the most enjoyable around the Arcachon Bay, precisely because it runs almost exclusively through the pine forest, completely separated from road traffic. You can reach the main village of Cap-Ferret in just about ten minutes, or head the opposite way toward Petit-Piquey, Grand-Piquey, Les Jacquets, or Le Canon if you prefer to explore the Peninsula's quieter, more discreet villages. And for the more ambitious riders, certain routes will even take you all the way to the Dune of Pilat via the coastal paths.

In fact, the bike path connects to almost every point of interest mentioned on this site: it passes right in front of Port de la Vigne, runs along the path leading to the ocean, and puts all the activities located less than 10 minutes from the house just a few pedal strokes away. It is hard to imagine a more convenient way to explore the Cap-Ferret Peninsula car-free, directly from our guesthouse.

Whether you are a casual explorer or a passionate enthusiast, a beginner or an experienced rider, a walker or a cyclist, you will find your own slice of happiness along the shaded trails that crisscross our surroundings.

Before setting off, take your time over a delicious breakfast, surrounded by the peace of the morning-cool garden, just a few moments before the day gets into full swing. Upon your return from your adventures, the house—nestled right at the edge of the forest—welcomes you back with open arms, offering shade, silence, and just enough coolness to let the heat of the ride melt away.
